same issue brother , pls reply if find out what the solution is ! I have 310 gb on my C drive , which is just a wastage of atleast 100-120 gb of my storage ! , I tried everything , watched tons of videos man !
After doing every step I still can’t shrink my C drive for more than ~500gb (1tb ssd) I’m at this point absolutely clueless what’s causing that. My laptop is right after a fresh windows install. There’s nothing on it
Did you restart your computer and then defragment? If yes then idk why there's still the problem. You can use a standalone software to do it for you www.easeus.com/partition-manager/epm-free.html

Still doesn't work for me on Windows 11. I have more than 300 GB of free space on my C drive, and it will still not allow me to shrink off any of it
